Um, can someone please kill this thing now?

Seen on my Lemur crawler... the WNBA will disband the Houston Comets, who won the first four seasons of the league, because they couldn't find a new owner.

Try to imagine that happening in any other league, um, ever. No, I couldn't either. David Stern, can you please step aside from your devouring of the hopes and dreams of Seattle basketball fans and end this thing, please?

The funny thing is that killing the league would also further the killing of Seattle fans hopes and dreams, as the WNBA's Storm are probably the only good team of any kind left in Seattle.

The Washington Bullets folded in the first 12 years of the NBA (1954). The Chicago Packars relocated to Baltimore in 1963 and became the Baltimore Bullets, then the Washington Bullets (1973) and finally the Washigton Wizards (1995).
